Market News
Hello!
Happy Hanukkah!
Thanks to all who brought socks for our sock drive for The Nashville Rescue Mission! We seriously believe we have the best community of customers in the world! Good clean socks are one of the most requested items for donation at homeless shelters. This year we ask that when you pick up your order to please bring us a pair of good, warm, cozy socks – either new or only slightly used. We will deliver them before Christmas to The Nashville Rescue Mission.
It has been a cold, cold week, but the winter loving greens in the hoophouse have survived and will be all the sweeter for it! We also have a nice supply of hearty storage crops – the winter squashes and sweet potatoes – to round out your meals. Eat healthy this winter, and keep the immune system strong!
A reminder that our last delivery before Christmas will be on Wednesday, December 20th. We will not be delivering Wednesday December 27th or January 3rd. We will resume delivery on Wednesday, January 10th.
Thanks again for all your support, and we will see you on Wednesday!

Alfresco Pasta is BACK!!
I told you there is a lot going on on the market! Take some time to browse this week while sipping your favorite beverage, having a tasty snack and cozy warm!
A wonderful thought about our local products is that none of our producers/makers are trying to compete with grocery store vendors or a bigger, rat-raced branding market that even some “small and local” folks push! We are truly small, family farms making a difference!
See ya on the porch!!
