Spa City Local Farm Market Co-op:  The market is now open for ordering

The market is now open for ordering

The Spa City Co-op market is now open for ordering at spacity.locallygrown.net.

Please place your orders before Tuesday at 9 pm, and plan to pick up your orders at Emergent Arts on Friday from 3PM to 4:30PM. If you’re unable to pick up your order at this time please make arrangements to have your order picked up for you.
Remember to scroll all the way down and click place this order.

Don’t forget – this market has no paid positions, so we NEED VOLUNTEERS to run every market. It’s fun, you get a $5 gift card as well as extend your membership by 2 months, and you learn so much about local foods in Arkansas.
Have a great week and see you on Friday!

Thank you for choosing Northeast Georgia Locally Grown as a way to support your local producers. This online farmers market allows you to buy directly from multiple farms committed to chemical-free and local produce all year long! CHEMICAL-FREE means produce and pastures grown without synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides. LOCAL means within 80 miles from the market pickup locations (usually much much closer). Do you know someone who grows chemical-free food in the area? Get them in touch with us. Know someone who wants fresh food? Spread the word. Put the two together, and that’s growing organically!

Bruce and Dabrielle Wills of My Daily Bread will be closing on the 13th of October. They are selling their homestead to our own Sarah Rockey and her husband Tyler. Sarah and Tyler will be spending the winter getting the homestead ready for planting and hope to have veggies for our Market in the Spring! Bruce and Dabrielle have been excellent stewards of their land and have maintained the organic soil for the last 20 years. They care about what they have nurtured so lovingly and carefully and are sad, but happy to know that Sarah and Tyler will continue the sustainability and growth. Dabrielle and Bruce will continue to bake for us for the foreseeable future. Congratulations to both couples as you embark on your new journeys!

Sarah has done much for the Members of the Market. Moving days are October 14th and 15th! If you would like to help, please contact me at 404-432-4337. Truly, we need all the help we can get!

Take me to Heirloom Living Market.

All Cow Milk and Egg Orders from Cedar Rock MUST be in by 8:00pm SUNDAY!!

If you miss this deadline, you miss your milk next week. It is way to cumbersome to keep track of late orders and neither Sam or I have the time to do it. In the past, I had once said it was alright to text Sam, but that created an ‘administrative nightmare’ for me! I work a full time job in addition to the Market. Please get your orders in on time! Thank you for your cooperation!

Take me to Heirloom Living Market.
